Here we are at Little Jimmy Trail Camp. It is about noon so we took advantage of the picnic facilities to eat our lunch. Little Jimmy is sufficiently large that it will accommodate an entire troop of scouts. However, today we encountered only one other group of three hikers. Terry indicated this was typical even for the average weekend in peak season. Very strange that such a nicely equipped camp is not more heavily traveled. There are better than average creature comforts including toilets, fire pits, tables and level places to pitch tents or bed rolls. This would be a good first night staging spot for a multi-day area hike... maybe next trip.
