This shot was taken at the parking turnout for what we 'thought' was our trailhead.  Surprise!  We were actually a mile from the 'real' entry point.  Fair warning to those that follow, the signage is pretty confusing as to where the John Muir trail actually crosses Tioga Rd.  The troops got pretty restless when it was discovered we'd added and extra mile to an already scheduled full day.  There was no mutiny but had this been the last day instead of the first...
