Would you believe sunset at Sunrise?... Or is it sunrise at Sunrise?... Now let's see, the sun sets in the west.  My Batman compass says west is to the right.  Tracing the rays from the sun to the ground... Yup, I was correct the first time.  It's sunset. 

The air is so clear that very little light gets redirected into shaded areas.  The effect is clear to see in this pic.  The sun's last rays hit the distant hill sharply defining it against the still bright sky.

Darkness came quickly after this shot was taken.  Good thing we all remembered to bring flashlights... Now where's mine... Uh JD, would you mind running back to the car...
