If you're sharp and did a nose count, you'll notice there are a few missing persons.  And we're still only at the trailhead!  No they weren't eaten by bears... yet.  Our plan is to do a through hike form Tuolumne Meadows to Yosemite Valley floor.  Two rabbits volunteered to make the two hour long drive along Tioga road and down into the Valley, meet John DeAguiar who drove in from Sonoma, drop off the two rental vans, and return (two more hours) in JD's car to the trailhead.  T. Boldt (sprinter extrodinarie) and Hal (Mr. sub-three hour marathon) were the obvious choices. 

I was sure Tom and Hal would catch us before we reached our destination at Sunrise High Sierra Camp but I wasn't so sure whether John would hold a grudge for pairing him with these road runners or not.  No worries, mate, all three caught us on the last leg and didn't seem any worse for the wear.
