Sooo, how cold was it last night? Well, no one stayed up to check the thermometer but forensic evidence analysied by Sherlock Carver concludes it dipped below freezing. No, that's not plexiglas from the camp's shower door. It was just plain water when we went to bed.
The meadow in front of Sunrise camp is cris- crossed by meandering streams. During the season when the camp is in full operation, water is pumped from the streams into a holding tank, which supplies water for all purposes, drinking, cooking, showering, washing... Naturally, we got there after the pump was shut down for the season. Moving water from the source to point of use could be done as Andrew demonstrates but the method never caught on. Guess he's just ahead of his time. Keep trying Andrew, there's an idea out there worth a million, just not this one. Perhaps an optional hand warmer?
