There is a bypass trail which circumnavigates Clouds Rest summit.  It was real tempting to take it as fatigue had set in and the trail ahead was only getting steeper (check out the elevation map).  But nnoooooo, everyone either chose the hard way or was tranced out and missed the junction.

Sue, Martha, and Adrian, complete with full pack, made the top, noooo problem.  Unfortunately, we couldn't stay and enjoy the view for as long as we wanted because we still had to find a camp site, make dinner, and set up tents.
