Tom and Hal, tent partners in crime, head out from Sunrise Lakes clean, refreshed, and fed.  Destination is Clouds Rest.  We are squarely in bear country now and for some reason, these guys seem to attract 'em.  I have noticed in times past, they are always female bears, though. 

"Nice legs, guys.  Bet they taste like chicken."
