This is the first of two shots of the same scene.  I'm just fascinated with the differences in picture taking equipment, you see.

Before you is a 640X480X24, 62.7KB JPEG picture take by my trusty digital camera and published directly to the Web.

The next picture is 768X512X24, 78.9KB JPEG scanned directly from the 35mm (Nikon camera) negative by Kodak.  If you ignore the difference in image size, I kind of like the digital camera picture better.   Resolution is obviously higher in the Kodak processed picture.

Anyway, now that the lesson in technology is over, I suppose we should talk about the picture subject matter a bit.  Brett, Kurt, Sue and I are standing in our favorite spot... a cliff... and camping for the camera(s).   Clouds Rest is to the right of my head and we've managed to obscure most of Tenaya canyon..., which reminds me, I've got to lose some weight.
