Now most of the way around Tioga Road to the trailhead we entered some four days ago, we stop at Olmstead point for a last look at what we accomplished.

The John Muir trail head junction with Tioga Road is to the left of this picture about five more miles.  Our trek took us along the ridge line to (left) and over Clouds Rest (surely you recognize the shape by now), then down across the connecting pass to Half Dome (I know, it's hard to recognize because it changes shape depending on viewing angle, but that's it on the right side), and finally over Half dome itself.  Yosemite Valley lies to the right of this picture and below the tree line.
