I title this one "Petrified Russian."  Serge has made his way out onto a rock which is cantilevered over Nevada Falls.  There is nothing but air underneath his rear end except air... and the occasional granite slab... but that isn't for another 250ft down... nothing to worry about, right?

In the background is Glacier Point, arguably the best view in the park accessible by automobile.  From Glacier, one can see both Nevada Falls and Vernal Falls (our next point of interest on the way down to the Valley) and of course, Half dome.  There is nothing that compares to watching the last sun rays lighting Half dome exclusively with Martini in hand... Well that's another story...

The hump above Glacier is Sentinel Dome.  An easy half mile walk from the parking lot puts one at yet another awesome spot with a commanding view of Yosemite Valley and El Capitan; Tenaya Canyon and Half Dome; and Little Yosemite Valley and bear country.  It's really worth seeing.  If you plan a jaunt to Glacier Point, Sentinel Dome is an easy must-see.

Oh yes, Adriana stepped out shortly after this picture was taken to rescue Serge.  Brought him back in one piece.  Had to get his joints working again once on firm ground.
