It is very late in the season, rains had yet to start and this is probably the slowest Nevada Falls will run all season.  It's still spectacular and commands one's attention.  In peak season (June), the water is perhaps 5X what you see here.  Pressure above causes water to jet off the top and not hit the wall until at least half way down.

If you're going to fall in, do it in June... it's a much more spectacular ride.
