Here's one of the better shots that Kodak processed... and of course, the photographer (Brett) was alert enough to take.  This is our second point of interest for the day, Vernal Falls.  We have traveled about 2mi's paralleling the Merced river below Nevada Falls.

Sue and Kurt are walking toward the trail entrance leading downward on the final leg of our journey.  The trail is easy to miss when few people are around to follow as it is tucked away in a corner well above Vernal.  Today however, there were ample bread crumbs to lead everyone in our party in the correct direction.  Interest at this point is in finishing, not diddling around with nature.
