At about the 1 mi. mark off-road into the desert, we came to a steep drop-off which was well beyond the design parameters Acura laid down for this particular vehicle. I was amazed we made it this far. Now the problem was finding a place to park and turn around for the eventual return trip. Backing out a mile was a decidedly unattractive alternative.
