Libbi and I are now on top of Borrego Mountain, a hill really, though at one time it probably towered high enough to earn its name. From this vantage point, one can see most of Borrego park which is bordered by Mexico on the south and LA county on the north. The Salton Sea is off the right side of this picture and clearly visible from our perch. Looking back toward the camera is our next destination, a series of small, tight canyons...
