| Still on the way down, I give the thumbs-up for the view into Cottonwood
Creek, our second night's destination. The camp site is located just below the confluence
of the two Cottonwood Creek tributaries in the lower left quarter of the photo. Also, the
left arm of Horseshoe mesa can be seen above my thumb. We will descend the trail located
below my fist into Cottonwood tomorrow morning. Alternate caption: This could be Grapevine canyon, a few miles to the west of Cottonwood. Something just doesn't look right about the left arm of Horseshoe in this picture. One of the beauties of maintaining your own Web is that you can always edit out mistakes later.
