...OK so no one is perfect. We finally found a weak point on the EAST end of the
butte. Some parts of the rock structure had cracked off providing good footholds but it
still was not trivial to haul ourselves up the wall. Kurt (left) and John (best side showing), make an attempt to reach the summit. My recollection is that this attempt failed but it made a good picture anyway. |
