Peaking over the center of the trestle, you can just see the top of the caved-in tunnel. Also, look again at the hillside for another perspective on how much of the mountain slid, resulting in the tunnel's demise.

| This final view of the trestle was taken just as we were about to nose
over the ridge down into Carrizo Gorge. The plan was to resume bushwhacking for
