| Here's a second RR construction site at about mile 5 (CG5 on the map).
Again we encountered these U-shaped concrete blocks. They obviously formed a
base for something heavy or under great force. Each of these construction sites is
located in the bottom of Carrizo Gorge, below the entrance to a tunnel(s). We figure
workers camped here literally for years while they drilled into the mountain and
constructed trestles over low areas. I recall that it took some 10yrs to finish the
track along Carrizo Gorge alone. No doubt some archeologist of the 24th century will find these concrete emplacements and declare them to be evidence of an alien culture. Hey, wait a minute, maybe those mechanical parts really were from a hasty space ship repair... yeah, that's it. Could be connected to that Roswell Area 57 thing. |
