It's amazing how well this simple pictograph as been preserved.  My guess is that it was drawn with the burnt end of a stick.  It clearly shows a human figure and measures about 12" in height.  A very interesting find and a good start to our hike.  I have hiked into Cougar Canyon several times before but this is the first time we found the right rock cave... they are all over the place.
