This picture was taken on the way back, just above the palm grove. We decided to take a slightly different route into the oasis. The chute Libbi is climbing down has water in it during winter and spring months. The last time I was here, there was a significant volume of water cascading down the smooth granite, making it nearly impossible to do what she is doing. As you can see, it is treacherous enough but with the added challenge of fast moving lubricant, nearly impossible.
