You can kind of get the feel of Zion canyon from this picture. It's about 30% as deep as the Grand Canyon and tends to wind around a bit more. There is water in the bottom which provides the usual canyon excavation mechanism. It was cool during the day, probably about 50 deg. Gary's flannel shirt came in handy during our day in Zion.
