These, of course, are the "before" shots. Take one last look at the upper floor and deck on the right side... it will soon be gone, replaced by a new improved family room. The fire place and associated wall, which I have hated all these years, is scheduled for demolition in the next couple of weeks.
One last photographic walk around the house sets the frame of reference for what is about to happen... stucco walls, new extended family room, patio behind the master bedroom with door, and new windows. In the last two 20-Nov shots you can see that the contractor is setting up for a long siege. That industrial strength dumpster parked in front of the garage will be emptied several times before this job is complete. And then there is the Biffy. Thursday is Biffy cleaning day.
