Once again, there was no single camp site large enough to hold all 7 of our group.  Marshall, Gary, and Kurt (plus Glen, the interloper from Phoenix) pitched near the bear box on Soldier Lake.  Marshall, pictured here, has taken over "chase lounge rock" and is proceeding to contemplate the meaning of life.  ...But can one really do that while snoring?

Good camp sites, again.  Near water and alive with scenic vistas of lakes and mountains.  We needed a good rest in order to be in good shape for the next day.  No one in our team had been into Miter Basin before.  There were no trails and we were pretty sure that Crabtree Pass, at the end of Miter Basin, would be tougher than New Army Pass.  Would this little detour even be possible??  Ah, what the hell, let's do it anyway...
