Continuing along our route to Camp #3 at Crabtree Lakes, we are passing the last in a set of unnamed lakes.  We have now been on the trail for about seven hours... good thing this was "easy"... and are about to descend into the forest and to the first in a string of Crabtree Lakes.  "God, could you turn down the scenic beauty knob a bit.  We're getting sensory overload here."  Kings Canyon itself lies ahead.
