...And here we are at Guitar Lake, just where the ranger advised the good sites would be.  The camper population around the lake was pretty high and good spots were hard to find.  Guitar Lake is the staging area for assaults on Mt. Whitney summit coming from the West along Kings Canyon and it is a camp spot for hikers traveling over Whitney from the East beginning at Whitney Portal. 

It was about this time that a female hiker walked through our camp site and informed us a) this was her access route to the lake and b) we were camped illegally too close to the water............................................................................................................
...............................................  We thought about this for about 10 seconds, looked at each other, knew exactly what to do, and in unison yelled after her... "Show us your tits!"-
