The trailing team consisting of Marshall, Paul, and Gary make a more leisurely pace down mountain.  We are now well below the switchbacks and Trail Camp located at the foot of the switchbacks.  Outpost Camp, a good dinner, and much needed rest is about 1 mile away, just beyond the meadow below.  The view is eastward toward Lone Pine, which is obscured below the 'V'.
