Mother nature is pretty hardy.  This bunch of flowers (name unknown... hey, we're just a bunch of guys, not botanists) was discovered at about the 14,000 ft mark, well above tree line and without other vegetation anywhere nearby.   How did the seeds get here, and how does it survive sub-freezing temperatures every night?
